| Obverse description | Central field features the denomination '١/٢' (one-half) in large Arabic-Indic numerals, with the word 'نصف' (half) above and 'غرش' (ghirsh) below, all enclosed within an ornate twisted rope border forming a circular cartouche. Two ears of wheat flank the lower portion of the rope border. The Arabic legend 'الجُمهوريَّة اللبْنَانيَّة' (Lebanese Republic) curves along the upper periphery, while the date '١٩٣٤' appears in Arabic-Indic numerals at the base. The entire design is framed by a scalloped decorative rim. |
