Obverse description Central field occupied by a multi-line Arabic legend in bold relief, executed in the characteristic Bahmani hammered style with irregular flan surfaces. The inscription, reading in Naskh-influenced script, occupies the majority of the coin's face. A regnal date in Hijri numerals appears at the lower portion of the field. The die is slightly misaligned relative to the flan, resulting in partial legend at the periphery, typical of hammered copper issues of the Deccan sultanates.
