The effigy displays a richly ornamented drapery at the truncation. A circular Latin legend surrounds the portrait, reading FRANC·III·D·G·LOTH·BAR·ET·M·ETR·D·REX·HIER, identifying the ruler by his full titulature. The inner field is separated from the legend by a fine beaded border. |
