Obverse description Laureate bust of Napoleon I as Emperor facing right, rendered in the neoclassical style engraved by Pierre-Joseph Tiolier. The emperor's portrait features a laurel wreath crown and draped shoulders, with fine detail in the hair and facial features characteristic of First Empire coinage.
