Reverse description Reverse flan of similarly irregular round form, entirely occupied by a multi-line Arabic legend in Naskh script executed in raised relief. The inscription references the sovereign authority and Islamic formula typical of Gujarat Sultanate copper issues of the period AH 813-846. The die alignment and lettering style are consistent with the obverse, reflecting the hand-struck hammered technique employed at the Gujarat mint. Flan cracks and surface roughness are present, characteristic of the small-module falus coinage of this sultanate.
