Obverse description Armored and draped bust of Ferdinand VI facing right, rendered in low relief in the characteristic small-head style of the Seville mint. The king is portrayed wearing a cuirass and lace cravat, with flowing wig. The circular legend FERDINAND * VI * D * G * is divided by the portrait, reading across the upper and lower fields, with the mint date 1755 appearing in the lower exergual area between two small stars. The coin's milled border frames the entire design.
