| Obverse description | Youthful draped and cuirassed bust of Louis XV facing right, laureate with flowing long wig, engraved in the style of Norbert Roettiers. The effigy occupies the full height of the coin field, with fine detail in the armor, drapery, and laurel wreath. The circular Latin legend runs continuously around the periphery, interrupted by lozenge-shaped stops. The overall portrait reflects the early juvenile representation of the young king, characteristic of issues from the early 1720s. |

| Reverse description | Crowned shield of France bearing three fleurs-de-lis arranged two over one on a plain field, surmounted by an ornate royal crown with fleurons and arches. The shield is centrally placed in the coin field with no additional supporters or mantling. The Latin legend encircles the design, punctuated by lozenge stops, with the date appearing in the upper portion of the legend. The composition is clean and heraldic, consistent with the Bourbon royal arms as standardized for French silver coinage of this period. |
