| Obverse description | Armored bust of Augustus II (the Strong), Elector of Saxony and King of Poland, facing right, wearing a cuirass with decorative shoulder drapery and a laureate wig with flowing curls. The effigy is rendered in high relief in the baroque style typical of Dresden mint coinage of the period. A circular Latin legend surrounds the bust, divided on either side. |
