| Obverse description | Laureate and draped bust of Emperor Leopold I facing right, rendered in high relief with a flowing wig characteristic of the late Baroque style. The emperor is portrayed in armored dress with elaborate drapery visible at the truncation. The peripheral legend commences at 12 o'clock and reads LEOPOLDVS D G R I S A G H B R, abbreviated titles denoting his imperial and royal dignities. The effigy occupies the majority of the field, with no inner circle present. |
