Reverse description A rearing horse facing right dominates the central field, rendered with fine engraved detail in its mane and musculature, emblematic of the Stuttgart civic arms. A smaller foal stands to the left of the horse, both animals positioned on a ground line with decorative scrollwork below. The entire composition is contained within a beaded border that follows the square klippe outline, with the engraver's initial 'D' visible near the base of the groundline.
