Reverse description A crowned Prussian eagle displayed with spread wings dominates the central field, facing right, holding a sceptre in one talon and an orb in the other. The mintmaster's initials HF appear to the left and H to the right of the eagle's body, flanking the lower torso. The date 1712 is inscribed in the exergue below the eagle. The motto SUUM CUIQUE, the Order of the Black Eagle's device meaning 'To each his own', arcs across the upper field. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded or toothed inner border.
