Reverse description A crowned imperial double-headed eagle displayed in the field, its wings spread and each head surmounted by a separate crown beneath an overarching central imperial crown. Upon the eagle's breast is an escutcheon bearing the crowned arms of Regensburg, itself encircled by the collar and chain of the Order of the Golden Fleece. The surrounding Latin legend names the Holy Roman Emperor Joseph II as issuing authority.
