Reverse description Two oval cartouches set side by side within an elaborate high-baroque foliate frame, the left cartouche displaying a fleur-de-lis device and the right bearing a lion's head passant, together comprising the civic arms of Augsburg. A large scallop shell crowns the composition at the top of the frame, with acanthus leaf ornaments extending to the lower field. The Roman numeral date MDCCL is inscribed in the upper portion of the field above the armorial composition, recording the jubilee year 1750.
