| Obverse description | Stylized facing bust in imitation of the Sasanian king Khusru II, with the facial features replaced by a legend arranged in a diamond pattern within the face area. The bust wears a winged crown surmounted by a star and crescent. The design is enclosed within a single-dotted border, with crescents bearing stars positioned at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock.
