| Reverse description | Sasanian-style fire altar with two attendants standing facing one another, each wearing a crescent on their head and resting both hands upon a sword hilt. The design is enclosed within a triple-dotted border, with crescents accompanied by stars at the 3, 6, 9, and 12 o'clock positions in the field, and three pellets placed at the diagonal quadrants. The fire altar composition closely follows established Sasanian reverse iconography, representing religious and dynastic continuity in the Arab-Sasanian coinage tradition of Tabaristan. |
