| Obverse description | Right-facing diademed effigy of Queen Elizabeth II occupies the central field, rendered in high relief with fine detail to the crown and hair. The legend SOLOMON ISLANDS curves along the upper border, flanked by decorative Greek key motifs at each corner. The denomination HALF DOLLAR is inscribed in the field to either side of the portrait, with HALF to the left and DOLLAR to the right. The date 2020 appears in the lower field above a continuous Greek key border, and the engraver's initials IRB are incused beneath the portrait truncation. The antiqued copper finish lends the piece a warm patinated appearance consistent with the broader series aesthetic. |
