| Reverse description | Full-color reproduction of Michelangelo's masterpiece The Creation of Adam, originally painted on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel (c. 1512), rendered across the entire rectangular field. At left, the reclining nude figure of Adam extends his left arm languidly toward the right, while at right, God the Father, draped in robes and surrounded by angels within a billowing cloak, reaches forward with outstretched finger nearly touching Adam's hand. The composition faithfully replicates the iconic central motif of the fresco, with sky-blue and green tones in the background. The vivid color application contrasts with the coin's polished silver-plated border. |
