| Additional information |
Part of a broader series commemorating the 250th anniversary of American independence, this issue takes its title from Abigail Adams's March 1776 letter to her husband John, in which she urged the Continental Congress to "remember the ladies" when framing new laws — a line that has since become one of the most quoted phrases in early American feminist history. The Niue connection is purely administrative; the Pacific island territory licenses its name to the New Zealand Mint for collector issues of this type.
