| Obverse description | Conjoined crowned busts of Ferdinand V and Isabella I facing one another in profile, Ferdinand to the left and Isabella to the right, both wearing elaborate Gothic crowns with fleurs-de-lis finials. The effigies are rendered in a late medieval Gothic hammered style, with detailed hair and crown elements visible in the relief. A circular Latin legend surrounds the central busts, partially legible and separated by stops. The field is unadorned, with the busts nearly filling the coin's interior, contained within an inner beaded or linear border. |
