Reverse description Irregular square flan with Arabic legends occupying the central field, disposed in multiple horizontal lines in Maghribi script. A continuous border of raised pellets runs along the upper and left margins, serving as the principal decorative element. A vertical rule or linear division is faintly visible within the field, a feature associated with Wattasid fractional silver types. The overall strike is characteristic of the crude hammered technique employed at Moroccan mints during the mid-sixteenth century.
