| Obverse description | Central field enclosed within a square frame bearing multi-line Arabic legend in Naskh script, conveying the Shahada and the name of the Ayyubid ruler. The square is surrounded by a circular dotted border, with an additional Arabic marginal legend occupying the annular area between the square frame and the outer beaded circle. The flan is irregular and slightly clipped, consistent with hammered silver coinage of the Ayyubid period. |
