Obverse description Bare-headed effigy of King Hussein bin Talal facing right, rendered in high relief with finely detailed hair and wearing a suit collar visible at the truncation. The Arabic legend flanking the portrait reads to the right and left of the effigy, identifying the monarch and his kingdom. The design occupies the full field, with a beaded border encircling the entire obverse.
