Reverse description Elaborate quartered coat of arms of the Brederode family occupying the central field, surmounted by two ornate tournament helmets with flowing mantling and heraldic crests above. Flanking supporters — a lion to the left and a rampant beast to the right — frame the shield on either side. The base of the shield rests on decorative scrollwork. The encircling Latin legend, separated by ornamental stops, identifies the issuing lord and his titles.
