The surrounding Latin legend is distributed around the annular field between the inner beaded circle and the outer border, reading ME VIGILANTE FLORET DAVENT with a terminal stop. The square klippe flan displays characteristic irregular hammered corners typical of emergency or prestige issues of the period.
