Reverse description A crowned cruciform shield of arms occupies the centre of the reverse, with the date divided by the crown at the top. The four quarters display the arms of England (three lions passant guardant), Scotland (lion rampant), France (three fleurs-de-lis), and Ireland (harp), representing the second reverse type in which the English and French arms are quartered. Small inter-shield devices appear at the angles, and the Latin legend encircles the whole design within a beaded border.
