Obverse description Left-facing draped bust of Queen Anne, her hair elaborately coiffed and tied with a ribbon bow at the nape, engraved by John Croker in a refined baroque style. The truncation of the bust is softly draped in classical fashion. The Latin legend ANNA·DEI·GRATIA· encircles the effigy, reading from lower left around the upper field. A toothed border surrounds the entire obverse design.
