Obverse description Laureate draped bust of Emperor Leopold II facing right, rendered in the neoclassical style. The imperial effigy is positioned centrally, with the mintmark appearing below the bust truncation. A continuous Latin legend encircles the portrait reading LEOPOLD·II·D·G·R·I·S·A·GER·HIE·HVN·BOH·REX, expanding to Leopoldus II Dei Gratia Romanorum Imperator Semper Augustus Germaniae Hierosolymae Hungariae Bohemiaeque Rex. The engraving, attributed to Théodore Van Berckel, exhibits fine detail in the hair and laurel wreath.
