| Obverse description | Left-facing draped bust of Liberty rendered in the Classic Head style, her hair elaborately curled and bound with a plain fillet inscribed LIBERTY. Thirteen six-pointed stars are arranged in the field around the periphery, seven to the left and six to the right of the effigy. The date appears in the lower exergue. The design is enclosed by a fine beaded border. |
