| Obverse description | Left-facing draped bust of Liberty occupies the central field, her hair elaborately braided and gathered at the nape in a classical style with beaded ornaments, and a coronet inscribed LIBERTY across the brow. Thirteen six-pointed stars are arranged in a ring around the effigy, six to the left and seven to the right, within a plain inner border. The date appears prominently in the lower exergual area below the bust, with a fine beaded border surrounding the entire design. |
