Reverse description The central circular perforation is flanked by the fractional denomination, with '1/2' to the left and 'CENT' to the right in bold raised lettering, the latter set within a stylized crescent form. Two upward-curving grain sprigs rise symmetrically from the base, framing the central hole and meeting at its lower edge. The legend 'INDOCHINE FRANÇAISE' arcs across the upper field in raised Latin letters. The year of issue appears in the lower exergual area, flanked by small decorative stops. A twisted rope border encircles the entire reverse design.
