Reverse description Central field features a long cross extending to the inner circle, with a decorative element — likely a lis or floral motif — at the centre where the arms meet, set within a beaded inner circle. The cross divides the field into four quadrants in a style consistent with late medieval French feudal coinage. The surrounding Latin legend is inscribed between the inner and outer beaded rims. The strike is off-centre in places, typical of hammered coinage from the Trévoux mint during the reign of John II of Bourbon. Overall, the reverse follows the standard billon blanc design tradition of the Dombes principality.
