| Obverse description | Central cross composed of four conjoined V-shaped elements arranged around a cruciform ornament in the field. The design is contained within two concentric pearled circles, between which runs the peripheral legend in uncial Latin lettering identifying the issuer as Wenceslaus II, King of Bohemia and Duke of Luxembourg. The overall composition is characteristic of late 14th-century Luxembourgian hammered coinage, with a bold and symmetrical central motif. |
