Reverse description Central device depicts an orb surmounted by a cross and crescent, encircled by a royal crown, with the letter Z inscribed within the lower portion of the orb, denoting the Zwittergroschen denomination type. The central motif is enclosed within a beaded inner circle, with the surrounding Latin legend identifying the coin as a new silver money of Heidelberg. Ornamental stops separate the words of the legend, consistent with late 16th-century Palatinate minting practice.
