Obverse description Central device comprising the royal crown (Mongkut) of Rama V flanked on either side by a tiered Royal Umbrella (Chatra), each resting on an ornate ceremonial stand with lotus base. Radiating rays emanate from above the crown toward the upper field, evoking divine royal authority. The design fills the field to the inner beaded border with no legend, rendered in high relief with fine Thai decorative detail.

Reverse description Central device depicting a royal elephant positioned within the Chakra (sacred wheel), symbolizing the Chakri dynasty. Four six-pointed stars are evenly distributed around the elephant within the Chakra, each star representing one Fueang, collectively denoting a value of four Fueang or one-half Baht. The composition is set against a plain field enclosed by a beaded border, rendered in crisp relief consistent with a proof pattern striking.
