Obverse description Central field bears the Devanagari inscription अधा आना ('Half Anna') arranged across the coin face in bold characters typical of mid-19th century Indore hammered coinage. The lettering is crudely but deliberately struck, occupying the majority of the flan. The irregular round copper flan displays characteristic surface texture consistent with hammered production. No figurative device or royal effigy is present; the design is purely epigraphic in nature.
