| Reverse description | The reverse features a central cartouche with an ornate scalloped surround, within which the denomination INDIA / AN 1/2 NA and the date are prominently displayed in large, interlocking Latin characters. The date occupies the lower portion of the cartouche. Surrounding the central device, the denomination 'Two Paisa' is rendered in four regional scripts: Urdu (دو پیسہ) at the top, Devanagari (दो पैसा) at the left, Bengali (দুই পয়সা) at the right, and Telugu (రెండు పైసలు) at the bottom, each legend positioned along the corresponding side of the square flan with rounded corners. |
