Reverse description Central field bearing a two-line Arabic legend in cursive naskh script denoting the mint name and regnal year, set within an oval cartouche defined by a raised linear border. The inscription reads 'zarb Ganja 1216' (Minted in Ganja, AH 1216), with the Arabic numerals of the Hijri date clearly rendered in the lower register. The cartouche is enclosed within a continuous pellet border following the contour of the irregular hammered flan. The overall fabric is consistent with the hand-struck, crudely finished coinage characteristic of the Ganja Khanate mint in the early Qajar period.
