| Obverse description | Central field bears a two-line Persian legend reading 'Shah Alam Badshah' with the Hijri date 1195 below, all executed in raised relief. The inscription is contained within a raised toothed border running along the full circumference of the coin. The lettering is rendered in a formal Naskh-style Arabic script consistent with Mughal administrative coinage of the period. |
