Reverse description Large crowned royal cypher of Frederick William I, formed by the interlaced monogram 'FW', dominates the central field beneath a royal crown. The denomination in German is inscribed in the exergue below, reading '12 EIN R T', indicating one-twelfth of a Reichsthaler. The monogram is boldly rendered and occupies nearly the full flan, characteristic of Prussian subsidiary coinage of this period.
