Reverse description Crowned oval cartouche bearing a scepter in the central field, flanked by the date divided on either side and the engraver's initials (C·S). A two-line legend reading SUUM CUIQUE (Latin: 'To each his own,' the Prussian royal motto) runs across the upper field. The denomination, expressed as '12 EINEN R·T' (12 to a Reichsthaler), is inscribed in two lines within the exergue, clearly stating the coin's fractional value.
