| Obverse description | Central field features the ornate crowned arms of Saxony, a quartered shield displaying the electoral arms with the rampant lion of the Palatinate and the Saxon barry with a green crancelin, flanked by elaborate baroque foliate mantling. The mintmaster's initials EPH appear below the shield in the lower field. The circular Latin legend runs along the outer border, identifying the ruler as Elector and Duke of Saxony and King of Poland. |
