Obverse description Central quartered heraldic shield displaying the combined arms of the Bishopric of Münster and the Wolff-Metternich family, supported by elaborate foliate mantling on either side. The shield features multiple quarterings including horizontal bars, a cross, a deer passant, and roundels, all rendered in fine relief. Surmounting the shield is a princely crown with prominent fleurons. The circular legend in Latin runs along the beaded inner border, identifying the bishop by his titles and sees.
