The royal crown surmounts the shield, flanked by decorative supporters. The circular legend reads ANTON V. G. G. KOEN. V. SACHS. S, an abbreviation for Anton von Gottes Gnaden König von Sachsen, running around the full periphery of the coin within a beaded border. The mintmark S, for the Dresden Mint, appears below the shield in the lower exergue. |
