Obverse description Central field features the crowned royal cypher of Adolf Fredrik, comprising the interlaced initials 'AF' beneath a royal crown. The monogram is rendered in relief against a flat field, with the date or mint mark appearing in the lower portion of the design. The composition is bold and heraldic in style, typical of Swedish provincial coinage of the mid-eighteenth century.
