| Obverse description | Central field displays a ducal crown surmounting the monogram or initials of Wenceslaus I, flanked on either side by stylized loquat (nèfle) flowers rendered in Gothic style. Below the crown device, a two-line inscription occupies the lower portion of the field. The design is characteristic of hammered medieval coinage, with irregular flan edges and bold, slightly crude relief typical of 14th-century Luxembourg issues. |
