Reverse description Crowned quartered shield of France and Navarre, with the upper-left and lower-right quarters bearing the fleurs-de-lis of France, and the upper-right and lower-left quarters displaying the chains of Navarre alongside the cow of Béarn. The royal crown surmounts the shield at center. The date 1675 appears within the circular Latin legend SIT. NOMEN. DOMINI. BENEDICTVM ('Blessed be the name of the Lord'), all contained within a beaded inner border. The overall composition is characteristic of Louis XIV's Béarn provincial coinage.
