Reverse description Full-length figure of Saint Andrew, nimbed and draped in a flowing cloak, standing facing three-quarters left and clasping his saltire cross behind him; the crossed beams of the X-shaped cross extend prominently into the field on either side of the saint. A small circular mintmark countermark appears to the right in the lower field. The date 1675 is integrated into the encircling Latin legend, which reads upward from the lower left and continues around the upper portion of the coin.
