| Obverse description | The obverse is dominated by an elaborate intaglio-printed guilloche framework with ornate acanthus scroll borders and denomination numerals '1000' in each corner cartouche. A central oval vignette carries a portrait of Minerva wearing a crested helmet, rendered in fine stipple engraving.
