Obverse description Plain typeset note with a decorative saw-tooth border running the full perimeter. The denomination EINE MILLION MARK is set in large bold capitals at centre, above which the issuing authority and district name appear in graduated type. At lower left, an embossed circular validation stamp of the Kreisausschuss (District Committee) is applied, with two manuscript signatures below the committee designation line; Series letter and serial number are positioned at lower right.
