| Obverse description | Typeset Notgeld voucher printed in olive-green and black on plain paper, enclosed within a double-ruled decorative border with foliate corner ornaments. The denomination "EINE MILLION Mark" is set in large bold letterpress type at centre, above which the issuing authority inscription "Gutschein der Stadt Neumünster" appears; a faint municipal coat-of-arms underprint is visible at centre. Two blocks of redemption text flank the central denomination, the date "Neumünster, den 9. August 1923" appears below, followed by the authority lines "Der Magistrat." and "Das Stadtverordnetenkollegium." with two manuscript signatures; the serial number is printed in a cartouche at the lower centre, flanked by "1000000 M." numerals at each corner of the lower margin. |
